Just curious why it's gone, or if it's gone, or if I'm just going partially blind. If it is gone, why was it removed? I thought it was a great place to plan beginnings of characters and what not.

They closed it because few DM's were interested in preludes, and those that were did their own.

Ive been on one prelude, and it was awesome. I do hope they do start doing some again.

We don't run preludes anymore, unless we have a specific desire to run them for a group we're championing. The real problem is that people used them for a quick DM event, and then mostly abandoned the PCs!

Basically, it wasn't worth the hours invested anymore.

We sometimes run preludes, but they're now only announced by DM's and run from time to time, rather than requested for groups.

Well I don't really know how long the forum has been gone, but would it be possible to get a replacement forum for preludes, minus the DM's? Recruitment for group concept/ideas. Meh. I'm sure you get what I'm driving at, just not explaining it very well. I'll repost this under suggestions if that's what you would prefer.
