Letters for Various NPCs of Lower

The Beacon Guardians of the Beacon,

As you have no doubt heard, I have claimed the streets beyond your building as my domain. We will bring order and prosperity, and need not be feared. So long as you continue your mission of feeding and clothing the destitute, it would please me to see you prosper in ways that you have not before.

I must warn you, involve yourselves in my affairs, or harbor seditionists who would strike at my men in the streets, and then we must exact due and just punishment upon you and those who abide within your walls.

For the sake of all concerned, remain neutral.

Signed with an elaborate flourish PRINCE RINALDO MONTEZZI

The Pissing Crone Master Cyrus Doors,

I hope you will remember the gold I've given you thus far, and I wish to assure you that if you continue to remain on favorable terms with us, there'll be more. I have laid claim to the streets outside of your tavern, but do not dream of claiming your castle, for you are a worthy guardian of it. If you'd like to come to an arrangement that solidifies our friendship, I'd be glad to discuss it. In the meantime, I leave you with my promise that as my realm prospers, so shall yours.

Signed with an elaborate flourish PRINCE RINALDO MONTEZZI

Shrine of Ibrandul Priestess Sigerlin,

You may have heard that I have claimed the streets outside of your temple. I wish to assure you that I have no intention of causing you or yours any trouble, and welcome the blessings of Ibrandul while within his domain. If there are terms you'd wish to agree to, I should be happy to hear them, otherwise I shall keep the streets outside your wondrous temple governed in good order so that the faithful may visit you to offer homage to your god.

The Temple of Hoar Followers of Hoar,

I have claimed the streets, but seek no conflict with your Temple. I intend to bring good order and justice to this place, prosperity and proper rule of nobility where there has only been chaos. I welcome your advice in matters of justice, particularly in the meting out of appropriate punishment to those who commit crimes while within my domain.

If there are terms you'd like to discuss, I would be available, otherwise I suggest you remain neutral in my affairs and let us each allow the other to endure in peace.

The Shrine of the Ascension Brother Willoud,

You were responsible when last we spoke, and I hope you shall continue to be. Your mission is to bring those who wish to the surface. This I applaud. Do not distract yourself by getting involved in my affairs, or you'll find the justice of my sword perilously close to the throats of you and yours. Do not harbor seditionists, or assassins, or criminals who would object to my rule. In exchange, you'll be left well alone and have our cooperation in speedily returning you and your followers to the surface if you wish it.

Signed with an elaborate flourish PRINCE RINALDO MONTEZZI

Prince,

I'm glad you remember where a good deal can be had. I hope you don't mind if we work together on a case-by-case basis, aye?

No topic too touchy, 'cept maybe by letter, Cyrus

Prince Montezzi,

The Clergy of Ibrandul appreciates your reassurances. Know that our foremost priority has always been the worship of Him, and as long as you do nothing to hinder this sacred work, our door will always be open to you and your House.

~ Delina Sigerlin

Mr Montezzi,

We are not eager to attract any trouble. All we ask for is the freedom to honor and seek the Way of Frederick Bresley, to honor the freedoms of others and to bring hope to the people of Sanctuary. We beg you not to obstruct us, as we love these freedoms more than our lives, and will do anything to defend them.

Brother Willoud

Tyrant Rinaldo Montezzi,

The Temple of Hoar will never submit to your unprincipled band of thugs and murderers, the bringers of overwhelming bloodshed in these recent days. You will feel of His justice, manifested in the combined blood and pain and death which you and your men have wrought unjustly. Such has the Doombringer declared, and so it shall be.

- Acolyte Derber

House Montezzi,

The Beacon will continue to care for and support all poor and needy peoples of Lower Sanctuary, regardless of what your Highness thinks of them. We run an establishment based on principles of sympathy and love for all our brothers and sisters in freedom, and nothing you can do will challenge that.

The Montezzi House is not welcome in the Beacon. Keep your distance and bring us no trouble, and we will respect your territory in kind.

Winston

Prince Montezzi,

Whatever the opinion of the acolyte and his temple guards, my belief is that an appropriate and public demonstration of the fate you bring to those who would defame or damage your house would earn you Hoar's favor.

I ask only that you remember this. Nina
