This is a summary of the speech Councilor Goldbrick gave in the Town Hall three days back.

Citizens,

Our greatest enemy is not the Chosen, nor the undead shambles that stagger about in the ruins. Neither can think straight, neither can fight strategically, and neither is particularly cunning. No, it is no beast that is our city's greatest enemy; it is poverty.

Poverty holds us back from becoming a greater state. Poverty is what creates the criminal element in the Sanctuary Below. Poverty is what kills MEN!

So encourage your Councilors to improve your Canal Ward! Write to them daily and tell them how you feel. Tell them you are sick and tired of living like peasants when the opportunity to live much finer is before us, but not taken advantage of!
