My circumstances, unfortunately, do not allow me to enter Lower Sanctuary. Doing so may provoke an undesirable reaction from otherwise passive members of Lower society. Thus, the Crone would not be a viable option for a meeting place.

If you wish privacy that is somewhat lacking in Upper Sanctuary's common areas, I can provide such a place in the Last Stand. If this is unfavorable, letter is likely the most consistant means of contacting me so that we may proceed with whatever you intend to discuss until we should meet face to face.

My apologies, but this is the nature of the city and Lower that we live in that I must avoid certain places for no reason other than my connections with city governance and law enforcement. Quite a pity.

The streets of Upper aren't exactly friendly to my kind, and one of the men whose budget you decide could very well drive me out. Still, there's much to discuss that would benefit both parties, just as a new shipment of gray gnome slaves benefits the jewelers, auctioneers, and statue makers of fair Mulutakt. Perhaps a meeting at Mur would be appropriate?

I'm a stickler for security, so inform me ahead of time if you intend to, say, march to our rendezvous with ten or fifteen heavily armed guards.

Alternatively, you could don a disguise and simply visit the Crone using an assumed name. Security would be taken care of by my boys for this meeting.
