Councilor Grag-stills Goldbrick, Town Hall

Dear Councilor Grag-stills Goldbrick,

My name is Senestia Avarscanti and I would first like to commend you for sponsoring and organizing the Festival of Arts. I certainly believe that if the people of this city can better witness the beauty and creativity that exists all around and within us, they will be filled with hope and invigorated with passion to see that Sanctuary is a city fit for its its good people.

I would like to offer my services to sit on the panel of judges. I am Priestess of Sune and so I am guided by her wisdom to see and experience all things beautiful for one of my duties is to protect all things lovely and beautiful, including works of art. As well, I am artist myself specializing in quill and paint brush--various pieces of my work can already be seen throughout the city--and I believe such an experience will be especially valuable when it comes to judging.

This, however, brings me to a question that I wish to ask. As both an appreciator and creator of art, I would like to know if judges are allowed to submit their own works to be judged. Naturally, I presume that if a judge submits a work he or she will not be taking a position on the panel of judges.

Finally, I would also like to inquire if you would consider expanding the list of accepted mediums to include the visual and physical arts such as paintings and sculptures.

I hope to hear a receive a response from you soon. A letter left for me at the Stand or the Grotto will reach me. I look forward to your festival and hopefully other such initiatives that would lead to the greater beautification and improvement of this city.

Best regards and a beautiful day to you, Senestia Avarscanti

I'd like to meet with you briefly, you sound wonderful. I'll make a sending for you when I wake next.

//We'll work something out.

It seems you're the only one interested in this, just now. If you have the energy and are willing to run this alone, I'll bankroll any efforts and things you need to do so. This Montezzi business, along with the budget arguments are eating all of my free time up.

Sincerely,

Councilor Goldbrick

Dear Councilor Grag-stills Goldbrick,

The lack of interest by others deeply saddens me but I still would gladly see that this city has a venue for expressing itself in the arts.

Best regards and a beautiful day to you, Senestia Avarscanti
