I suggest that they can be picked up like player corpses, because we have enough troubble having to get a DM on to clean every death up, since it's bound to have IC reprecussions. So making the corpses pick-up-able, it will alllow us to carry bodies to the mausoluem if we want to.
Just an idea because I'm finding plenty of NPC corpses.... in SANCTUARY, the middle of the town.

In most cases it's because a griefer or player without knowledge of the rules kills them, and it's not meant to happen!

I know. But still, we can still RP it out, and it IS RP'ed out often. So something like taking the body to the Mausoluem would count as RPing it, and the greifer just causes some people to loose a half an minute delivering the corpse. Still, it'd be good for when it's supposted to happen for RP reasons.

Don't RP it out. It's an OOC issue. The only way to attack blue NPCs is to first get a DM, so you can pretty much be assured that a DM will already be around if the NPC corpse is indeed supposed to be there.

OK, thanks for the answer. It's a bit agrivating at times with greifers.

Piggybacking on this:
Could the corpse heaps, mauled corpses and so forth be made burnable, or have recoverable corpse to either a) animate, for the seedier types, or b) gotten rid of at the mausoleum, mass grave, etc.?
Some of us are working IG to remove piles of corpses from around our dwellings and the darn things keep piling up faster than we can emote getting rid of them. Maybe the Myrkullians would want to pile up corpses around their place? See - everyone wins :D

Aah, but since they are not supposed to be dead, they will still be there at server reset. I don't want to start accusing the cleaning lady of vampirism.

Some of the best events in EFU history (when I was playing anyway) happened as a result of things people RP'ed out, and didn't know they weren't supposed to.
Like when everyone was saying there was a riot in lower, and the DM's played into it and turned it into a full-scale Lowerian riot.
When in truth, it was a few people being careless with choking powder in pvp.
Ahhhh good times.

I think allot of the placeable corpses in lower are meant to show that people are being killing in that area, still. As in, its assumed that these corpses are picked up, and its assumed someone else dies over something. I could be wrong, but after experiencing some of the evils that tend to glue themselves in the npcs, it seems that what actually happening.

Every time you report a dead NPC to a watchman, Koinus Sten dies a little bit inside.
I wholeheartedly endorse that.
