Thank you. Thank you for your love, thank you for your votes, and thank you for the trust you have placed in me! Of all these, I think trust is the most important, yes. Trust is essential, and I aim to give it validity and substance. Together we can find vengeance against the Unseelie, stop rampant unemployment, stop the Chosen raids, and welcome new trade to the city from the Canal. I feel honoured that of all the worthwhile candidates out there, you, the people of Sanctuary as a whole, have placed the most trust in me.

The first day of Hammer brings us a new year, a new Council, and a new hope. A hope for Sanctuary, a hope for us all. We can conquer the Chosen, we can bring wealth to our homes and families, we can face the threats that antagonize us with courage, we can survive, prosper, and someday, if the gods are good, and we will it, we can reach the surface! My friends, we can do this all with time, commitment, trust, and dedication, our dreams can be given substance if we are true.

Come! With the year, let us welcome the start of a new Sanctuary! A strong Sanctuary, a safe Sanctuary, a better Sanctuary. I embrace it, and I ask all of you to do so too!
