Three identical letters addressed to the following individuals are left at their respectable locations. All recipients are listed inside above the contents of the letter.

• For Iok at the Temple of Tyr.
• For Ophelia Tideborn and Toman Vashan at the Shrine of Ascension.
• For Zanethias the Owl of the Badgertooth Tribe at the Last Stand.

Time has come for a preliminary expedition to the Sand Caverns. Preliminary for myself, that is, as you all know a good deal about the area. That being said, all of you have my complete trust in planning our route and deciding on how should we proceed once we reach the destination. Do not fail me.

Having learnt more about the Society from speaking to each of you, specifically about its past, I'm beginning to have doubts whether I want to be a part of their Crusade. But, not to lose our focus, I don't want to go into any detail at this point.

If there is anyone you would like to have along with us, don't hesitate to let me know. I believe we could find an use for a trained warrior by our side.

Yes~ it is my will to walk this path into the Sands with you* Gather supplies to enhance mind, flesh, and steel* I will speak with you with my own eyes concerning what I have found in the Sands*

The Bluecoats have the will of Jeluddin* Of this~ I am sure* Armand Bluecoat requires a focus of will upon all aberrants~ and he has a knowledge of the balance between them* It is best to speak of these things with the Water-Walker herself~ she speaks her mind directly on this matter*

Another path in my mind is to speak with Sensei Rhiannon ~ the first One to lead the Crusade into the Under Earth* I sense she has a deep knowing of the aberrant paths, fortresses, and labyrinths outside the city of Sanctuary*

I am still in meditative absorption upon the true will of the Crusade* The battle against the aberrants must continue* The practice of this we must discover in our selves~ as the ancient warrior Jeluddin once forged his way into the False Worlds where Zerthimon and the Rising began*
