Sir Grimmins Grimmininy, Office Of Enginiering [DM]

Sir,

I've enclosed a simple plan for the installment of a fountain. I'd like an estimate from your department of the cost of construction, as well as any other information you consider valuable. The blue print should answer any questions you have. Contact me at the beacon when you are able.

Mr. Salaman Faraday,

Would you like to build this fountain in Lower Sanctuary? If so, I regret to inform you that the Office of Engineering must automatically reject this job due to security reasons.

Thank you for your inquiry.

[Office of Engineering]

Sir,

The location will be in lower. It does not sound like I can convince you to change your mind about building it. I'll likely hire a crew out of lower itself anyhow. However, If you had any desire to design the pump and filtration systems and provide me with an overall estimate of the cost of materials and labor, I would make certain that the Office of Engineering took a percentage of the project budget before construction. Say 10%? It would be an investment of your time, but one that would pay off when the project commenced.

Salman Faraday

Faraday,

Trying to bribe a city office, trying to unlawfully gain access to Spellguard salvage plans and budgetary estimates!? This is outrageous conduct on the part of a council candidate! I hope the Watch and the council and the Spellguard and the Seekers and the Herald come down on you hard for this!

Sir Gimmins Gimininy, Esq.

FARADAY,

I've notified every city organization of this coercive villainy! You'll be lucky if you're not in a cell by the end of the night!

Sir Gimmins Gimininy, Esq.

Candidate Faraday,

The Order has intercepted a number of "colorful" letters that Engineer Gimininy has attempted to mail; we believe a few of them have already reached you. We are currently monitoring his office for future attempts and have cleared up these unfounded accusations with the Watch and Herald's office. We apologize for the misconduct of this city employee, but are pleased to report that thrall testing has shown negative results.

Wishing you a pleasant cycle, Kyros Miller IV, OPERATIVE Order of the Spellguard

Operative,

Thank you for your prompt handling of this unfortunate incident. I'm sorry the engineer has fallen ill. I could barb you now, but I won't, and leave it at a honest thank you. Do you happen to know what company was hired to make the additions to the Canal Ward? I'm requesting this information of the Herald as well, who I am sure will know, but is often backed up in paperwork. If you happened to know, it would save me time.

Salman Faraday

Candidate Faraday,

Former Councilor Deepingdale misappropriated council funds in order to finance the work of "Wally Walcott," a shipwright, in all Canal Ward renovation. Wally Walcott then used all council funds he had access to, but did not complete the scope of the council's project. He should be fairly easy to locate and contact.

Fair dark, Kyros Miller IV, OPERATIVE Order of the Spellguard

P.S. The engineer doesn't appear to be ill; merely "excitable," although that is quite the understatement.
