LT. Reynolds, The Watch House [DM]

Mr. Reynolds,

I apologizing for not knowing the undead in question was an illusion. As an illusionist myself, I understand that a few things can very much appear to be one way and in fact be another altogether. Know too that I've written formal apology to Azzam fro my previous correspondence. I did not treat him with the respect he deserved.

I want to know how you feel about all of this though, there are men and women in the watch who must agree with me. I've met too many good watchmen and seen how much respect they have for the law to doubt they exist. The law is clear that any action that leads to death whether wrongful or accidental or righteous be brought to trial where it will be heard by a representative of the people. Yorrik Bresley helped create that law and it was pivotal in ending the war. That law has a lot of history, it made law enforcement ultimately accountable to the people. It brought an era of peace between lower and upper the likes of which have not been topped since. Its an important law, as they all are, and we must uphold them.

If you believe as wholly in the law as I do, then work with me. We can see the right thing done together now and in the future. The city will love you for stepping up and doing the right thing. I will also love you for it. But not in a gay way.

Don't believe what they say about me. I stay at the beacon, let me know if you desire a proper meeting.
