The letters are smallish, yet somewhat flourished, the parchment torn and grimy.
Dear Mister Torr,
I will get straight to the point.. A good friend of mine died, which left me very saddened as you may understand, I mourned his passing, yet accepted it. But since he was a follower of Deneir, about whom he told me that He is the god of record keeping, I would like to have a little memorandum written down and openly published so his spirit can be carried on and his memory be kept for future generations. I have read your notices, and after getting over them making my head a little fuzzy I quite admired them, and it is that I may need help in what I am trying to do. My friend's name was Maximilian Khanazar, who was a monk, and a good soul, one of the few that I would have called a friend sincerely, also because he helped me in drawing maps. He always used to say "Stay as one, function as one." I took this advice to the heart, and it is nearly ironic that he had to die because some people just could not adhere to it, and our scattered group was easily overwhelmed by the ruthless orog forces. No other lives where claimed, for he gave his bravely, fighting defensively, as he had learned the most important lessons on combat. His body was already brought to the mausoleum. I hope you can help me, Mister Torr, but in any case, please let me know what you think.. I can be reached at the Rock Bottom, even though I do not stay there. Thanks for reading this,
