*A weathered looking leather bound journal is maintained in his possessions where he sleeps with the other Seekers in the Hideout*
Nightal 26th: Year 152 of Sanctuary's Founding
My search for the whereabouts of my Wife Eliwyn, Daughter Eaiirlyn, and my fellow villagers continues. Yet, the only thing I have received thus far are nightmares of that late night they were taken from me by the Drow. Each day, I maintain my ritual of visiting the Ibrandul Temple to pray for his, Corellon, Shevarash, and any god who may be listening to protect my family from the dark evils they are facing and to give me the strength to see them freed. I have yet to see any sign that any god is listening. I will continue tomorrow.
Although I struggle hard to stay focused on finding my family, each day I feel as if I am drifting a bit further into despair and hopelessness. What are the odds that they are still alive? Or being tortured? No…no I cannot give in to the thoughts…
The only success I have had thus far after many, many months of searching, was finding Sanctuary and a Group known as the Seekers, who are known to have detailed maps of the Underdark, as well as had conducted successful operations against Slavers. Perhaps if I pledged my service, they would help me?

It seems I was successful in become one of the Seekers. However, as I started to lobby Sanctuary’s council for the Seeker reintegration, we were pulled into a battle with a murderous gang in lower. We have lost the lives of many noble Seekers so far, but I will see this matter through. Their faces haunt my dreams along with the images of my family and friends. There is much that needs to be done…
After this matter is concluded, I think it is time to shift focus towards slavers and the routes they take. Perhaps we might get lucky and obtain some information that might assist me in finding my wife, daughter, and friends. It is a long shot, I know, but my conscious does not allow me to idle much longer.

*Another journal entry is added to a page that contains a bit of melted candle wax*
This dark, I have had a moment to sit back and quietly celebrate the accomplishment of a very important step. The Seekers will be reintegrated back into Sanctuary. This means that some official funding will be restored, and the former Seeker Hall will be returned. This is significant because if I stand any chance whatsoever in locating my wife, daughter, and fellow villagers in this vast abyss of darkness, it will require every resource the Seekers can muster. I will now formulate new strategies in searching for my family and friends.
Beside personal objectives of mine, this is a critical step for the Seekers too…even if many of them don’t realize it. The Seekers could take valued lessons from Elves. The Seekers are only as strong as the want of the people of Sanctuary to be free. This is something Elves know well. If you simply board up the hall and venture into the darkness to separate yourself from the corruption and ills of Sanctuary, you better be willing to make the complete gamble to venture all the way to the surface, or die in the attempt.
House Montezzi persists in lower. The former council was weak and unwilling to adequately mitigate the threat they pose. Montezzi has brought in a number of slavers into the city to do “business”. It will come down to the newly elected council, to right the wrongs that transpired under their processors. Seeker influence in the council should assist in such.
