A sealed letter is left at the Temple of Tyr doors, addressed to "The Head Priest of Tyr". Apparently the writer did not know the name of this entity.
Hail, whoever this may concern:
I am Turgal, Dark Knight, formerly a servant of forces dark and unjust. It is my wish to repent, and have my soul cleaned of taint. I have spoke at length with Angelica, the Paladin servant of Torm, and with Taran Lightbringer, another Paladin. They can vouch for my sincerety.I wish to meet with one of your temple in order to arrange a meeting with this goal in mind. Know this: I wish to, as soon as possible, undertake the ceremony through which my soul can be cleansed so that I may walk no longer a Lordless man in the Underdark.
You may reach me at the Beacon.
- Turgal

The letter is opened by an unhappy acolyte.
There are no priests of Tyr in this temple, as they have been murdered.

An equally short re-reply is sent:
Then to whom do I turn?

Turgal,
Although I have not joined the Temple proper, I am a Justicar of Tyr, and a Greycloak. Know that there is no ceremony to purge yourself of past misdeeds; such is achieved by constantly trying to do the right things, and by undoing what evil you may have wrought.
However - I will offer all assistance that I can in your penitence. I can offer you guidance, I can listen to your past deeds and offer suggestions, and I will help you in every step of this journey.
