The improved herbs sold in lower by the medecine lady weighs as much as the normal herbs she sells. (80% weight).
Herbs, improved
It is a bigger pouch of herbs that weighs the same as a small one?
Er- i'd better check again, but it jsut seemed to me two herbs, one named improved, but both weighing 80% of normal.
Why would this be a bug?
I considered it more of a misnomer than a bug. There doesn't seem to be any improved advantage these herbs have over any others. Same weight, same DC. Heck, the game engine doesn't even seem to distinguish between the improved and regular ones when you use a quickslot.
I am curious about why one would purchase improved herbs as well.
You're sure they're not healing 2HP at a time rather than 1?
(Or, healing twice as often as regular herbs?)
The bigger problem I seem to have is the item-prioritization thingy. What I have noticed is that if you have more than one medicinal herb in your inventory and you right click one and use it, it won't necessarily use the one you right click but one of the other medicinal herbs in your inventory. One time when I had an improved medicinal herb, I right clicked it and used it, but a regular medicinal herb three spots to the left was used instead of the one I right clicked. This is what lead me to believe there's nothing special about these improved medicinal herbs.
(I tested this out just now to make sure I'm not crazy or anything).
Are they supposed to heal two times more hp than normal herbs, or just heal two times more quickly?
Yes, it'd definitely be nice to know what precisely 'is' improved about them, considering their tendency to heal at the same DC, rates, and quantities as any old 'normal' herbs. Unless they're just 'light', in which case... 8)
I was just wondering if was was any difference between the two, really, hence my posting it as a "bug".
I thought they gave +2 to your skill check?
I always got annoyed when using a normal Medicine Bag uses up one of my Improved Medicine Bags! I choose to pick that medicine bag because it's the one I want to use, not the one eight inventory slots to the right! :(
Berosion I thought they gave +2 to your skill check?Wow, if it's only that, they definitively aren't worth the price.
