If you play it, they will come
As some of you have likely been aware, we've been in discussion with Wizards of the Coast, Bioware, Intercon, and the NNJG to help organize a very special get together for the benefit of the Escape from the Underdark community. I'm happy to report that we've negotiated an agreement that is going to allow us to host a week-long event in the Pine Barrens of New Jersey. Anyone who participates in EfU, as well as friends and family, are invited to join us for a week of fun and games.
Players will have an opportunity to live roleplay their characters, receive XP and loot that will directly translate to their characters, and go on special DM quests that will have dramatic impact on the state of Sanctuary.
Some of us have been working on costumes for a while, and you can expect to see DM roleplaying skills live and in person. We have confirmed LaBrea RP'ing as Adelia Tyrell, Wiggyboy as Gaeseric the Unyielding, Calculor as Cyrus Doors, Metropakt as Winston, and wcsherry as Matron Gindirra Jhael'nyir. It is also hoped that ExileStrife will be showing up as Animator Dhimani, The Beggar as Desperate Beggar, and Caddies as the ghost of Ronus Graidan.
In addition to the Live Action Roleplaying sessions, you can expect a master video-game room, bunk housing, and open kitchen. There will also be caving, hiking, and canoeing available.
All accomodations, including food and board, will be provided absolutely free.

If you're under 18 you'll need parents permission before participating. As soon as OMGBear finishes drawing up the waiver it'll be posted for you to fill out electronically or print out and fax to us.
