To whom it may concern...

Good day to you. I am Jafari Purepalm, Cleric of Ilmater, and trained in the arts of the Monk. I was introduced to the society through one Lemli Cawdor, a very insightful and persuasive dwarf, who spoke with me at length about your organization and even went so far as to show me the various aberration statues in your gallery.

Having grown up in the horrors of an Illithid slave pen, I know just how barbarous the aberrations of the Underdark can be. Because of this, and because Sanctuary is my beloved home, I wish to join the Society in purging the depths of this menace. Let the Seekers find their way to the surface, let the Spellguard squabble with the Tigereye. The true threat lies under the earth with us and all around us, and I firmly believe we must defend ALL of Sanctuary's citizens.

My mental discipline is strong, and promises to only grow stronger as I live out my days in Sanctuary. Your principles line up perfectly with Ilmater's most basic tenets: putting the welfare of others before that of thyself. Fighting, bleeding, and dying, to protect the lives of others. It would be an honor to put my will - and the will of the Broken Lord - at your disposal. I can usually be found at the Rock Bottom Tavern.

Dear Jafari Purepalm,

It pleases me to know there are others interested in the battle against the foul Aberrations. It is good that you have met Lemli Cawdor, my name is Magnus Stoneguard and I am a Paladin of Gorm Gulthyn and a member of the Society of the Ordered Mind.

As you should already know, the aberrations are very dangerous; some of these foul unnatural beings are able to twist the minds of allies and turning them into our enemies. I shall meet with you soon, I'm sure Lemli will be happy to aid you as well. We shall teach you, watch you and train you, if you are truly interested in joining the Society and in combating this foul threat then you must prove your intent to us.

Born and bred in the sweet and blessed light of the world of day, duty bound to venture into the pits of the earth to do battle with the greatest threat to good in existence.
