[Captain Bastiaan Vandermark]

Captain Vandermark,

It is with great regret that I pen this letter, despite its necessity.

Earlier today, one of your men, Lucius Faraday, attempted to instigate a fight betwixt the two of us in the middle of the street. Your other men, a halfling and an axeman whom I have not met, attempted to contain his broiling temper, yet he persisted and forcefully shoved me.

He spoke many scathing comments against the Spellguard Order-- which in and of themselves were no matter. Such ingratitude towards the Spellguard for their work is not uncommon, and quite frankly, the Order will continue its defense operations regardless of this man's opinion of their methods.

When it came to the pushing and shoving, I very nearly lost my own temper and took to arms against the malcontent, ungrateful man. Although I was the only Associate around, the city's adventurers realized the highly emotional man's faulty claims for what they were and your man very nearly landed himself in some serious trouble. Fortunately, I held my hand and nerves and Sergeant Blackbeard came to my aid to disperse the crowd and take control of the situation.

I do hope that this incident remains isolated, and that your order of gentlemen can continue to maintain their good name in the city, maintaining their level of professionalism. If you have any further questions regarding the incident, I would be more than happy to meet and discuss with you what occurred.

Be well,

Associate Illario Dentra
