Why, hello there!
This is something that we've been passing around the Watch a bit, why it's nothing final at all, but I reckoned that it would be fine for you to get a hint of what we're thinking of after the Lothor scare, and boy, does it have me scared. So here it is, yeah, the start of some sort of law for you to mull over:
1.) At the time of induction, and every month from that time, Watchman are expected to be tested for thralldom.2.) At the time of induction, and every week from that time, Councilors are expected to be tested for thralldom.
3.) At the time of induction, and every month from that time, Spellguard Agents are expected to be tested for thralldom.
If any member of the city's defense organizations or council tests positive for enthrallment they will be arrested on the charge of Willfully Endangering Sanctuary. Their fate will be determined by a councilor in a trial.
Citizens suspected of thralldom will be tested, and if found to be enthralled charged with Willfully Endangering Sanctuary. Their fate will be determined by a councilor in a trial.
Also thought I'd mention that I think what the Spellguard did was as good as murder, and well, I think there really ought to be a trial before you go on deciding to execute a man behind closed doors. Heck, I mean, he probably was a thrall and all that, but it's still scary to me, and there ought to be some council say in the whole thing. Why, I don't know what's scarier, serving a strangely alien squid beast, or getting chopped to pieces and burned without anyone getting a word in edgewise! Well, of course the alien squid beast's scarier, but you know where I'm coming from! Not that that's anything though, just the opinion of little old me.
