Patriots,
At least two of my opponents in this election term bare the mark of Azuth, as villainous souls. Iphraem wears this mark with pride, and I fully back the "anyone but Iphraem" movement because I know the pains that will be subjected on good people should she come to power. However, whatever you think of her, at least the truth is in the open for all to see and decide for themselves.
Watch member Radoslav also bears Azuth's mark, not with pride but with deceit. As a matter of fact, you would be hard pressed to find watchmen that don't bare a mark. His evil is much more insidious then Iphraem's, because he tempts you to believing he is in it for your good. Do not be fooled! His policies are set to make the already bloated defense budget even larger then the 70% of the city income it currently encompasses. Soon enough, the only people who can afford to live and defend themselves will be watchmen. This is what he wants! His trade policies will make the rich, with the watch as their personal body guard, even richer and in the process make the poor his subjects. He wants the world of a few wealthy men and a mob of indentured servants.
Do not be fooled by his double speak. He will tell you the watch is weak, at its breaking point while advocating our strength to launch wars against enemies that stand in the way of his wealth. To him, the lives lost in the dark Canal mean nothing compared to the money it will bring to those wealthy business owners who support him. He will speak about tax breaks, that somehow end up in the hands of those that need them the least, his eilite base. He will do these things because he does not believe in the strength of the individual and this is epitomized in his plan for new animations. In his vision, you too would be a machine programed to do exactly as you are told.
Citizens, you are as good as any watchman and in most cases better. Given their paychecks you could defend yourself better then they can defend you. It's your life, take charge of it. Radoslav would have you his servant, I would rather see you strong, patriots become backbone of our city once again. Charles Bresely took up the calling to watch over the night. He needed no organization in place to do so. It's time we the people remember the foundations on which we were established and make it our own responsibility to watch over each other. Best of all, we don't need a bloated government pay check to do it. All we need is the drive to better ourselves and the world around us. Lucky for us, this city has always spawned those sentiments in spades.
This city does not need a Radoslav, it needs humanoid rights! It needs economic progress to for the majority not the wealthy! I see a city that is strong because its citizens are free and equipped to protect their own homes and families. I see a city where you are free to pursue your own dreams. I see a city where you find them.
