Patriot,
As you may be aware, I have thrown my hat into the ring this term to serve beside you as councilor. I fully expect to be working closely with you in the near future. From the brief meetings we've had, I can tell that you and I will not always agree on policy. However, I believe you are a man with a good heart and a sound mind. I am putting Humanoid rights forefront this term and I would like you to sign on to my plan to ensure that the people of our city are allowed the basic rights which god has given them. Please help me to pass these simple laws into effect by signing onto them now, so that come our term, a majority vote will see them issued. If you need anything else from me, ask it and it will be considered.
