Illario Dentra; Last Stand

Campaign Flyer New Dunwarren Renovation - As the only part of Sanctuary that boasts a lift, the New Dunwarren area could be made into a commercial venue for the sale of domestic and foreign goods. Currently, it provides neither of these. Or anything for that matter. - The Temple of Tyr, unfortunately, is absolutely useless. Not only is it one of the larger structures in town, it does not even have a priest to lead services. If it is unable to provide the services it ought to render to the people of the city within a reasonable timeframe, its occupants should be placed into the prexisting shrine to the same three gods that stands only fifty paces from the front door of the largely vacant Temple.

Candidate Illario Dentra,

As part of an ongoing project to ensure that political propaganda is as informed and truthful as possible, allow me to illuminate you on a few points in this passage.

Firstly, New Dunwarren possesses a bazaar, and has several merchants that regularly ply their wares there, albeit with less concentration then the Upper Bazaar - But then, the Upper Bazaar is the merchantile centre of the city currently, so that is to be expected.

Secondly, as the Temple of Tyr was constructed out of the private funding and materials of Baron Maxwell von Matterheim and Stanislaw Lem, it is not city property. Recovering from a near complete massacre by Lower renegades takes time, and the training of new clergymen is not something that is undertaken lightly.

Hopefully I've furthered your knowledge of this topic, if you cared.

Justicar Dornal Avhost Priest of Tyr and Caretaker of the Mausoleum

Justicar Avhost,

Then make it happen. Show progress. From the questions I've asked, the responses I've heard, and my own investigation no steps have been taken to aquire a new head minister.

Secondly, your bazaar is hardly worth mentioning to be frank. Their goods are overpriced and not particularly special in anyway. They're probably all second-hand too, since I saw no forge.

Lastly, I am unconvinced that the Temple is private property. It is defended by three Sanctuary service men. Based on this and the reunification of New Dunwarren and Sanctuary proper, I believe you may be mistaken and assuming too much.

Either way, your Temple is in shambles. The caretakers do not have the congregation, nor the funding, nor any other necessary means to fix such a monolithic problem as far as I can tell. While I sympathize with its situation, as most people in the city certainly would as there are so few established churches and temples, this sympathy does not extend past my ability to reason.

I'm sorry Justicar Avhost, but your attempt to dissuade me is thus incomplete. I hope to hear a response after your education and research into the matter has been finished.
