Letter to Private von Asch, again

Esteemed Private von Asch,

In regards to the current Council elections, I have a legal question. I write you directly in hopes that your attentive and professional nature will save me the trouble of any political awkwardness; I've had fallings-out with Sten and Talanger over the Redd matter.

Is it true that the criminal records of all candidates will be made available to the public during the campaigns? If so, at what time can I expect to see these records, or if possible, may I see my own as soon as possible that I may refresh my memory? Please don't think me impatient; I'm merely looking into a rumour.

May Lurue's blessing be forever on your blade and spirit, ~Frances Allegretti

Madam Allegretti,

I believe the Office of the Herald is indeed responsible for making these records public, though this certainly did not occur last election. Give me some few hours and I will see about providing a more illuminating return.

Von Asch

Madam Allegretti,

Perusing the arrest logs, I see that you were only ever arrested once, in regards to a minor crime.

Posting the criminal records of Council candidates for general review is likely an outmoded policy. Possibly this practice was standard before the death of Bhast. However, it does not seem to be a law grandfathered into our current set of procedures governing elections as set forth by Sheriff Azzam. I am sure the senior clerks in the Town Hall can tell you more.

Von Asch

Date: Nightal 9th, Year 152 Name: Francis Allegretti Crime: Disturbing the Peace Punishment: Minor Jail Time Details: Dame Allegretti was arrested for her continued vocal disapproval of Councilman Chevels rendering of justice outside Town Hall regarding a halfdrow criminal.

Private von Asch,

I thank you kindly for your aid in this matter. As it turns out, the criminal records of Sanctuary's candidates will -not- be put out by the Office of the Herald. I think that's a goal I'd like to work towards, should I win. At any rate, your assistance is very much appreciated, and very helpful as well. Now I know I really have nothing to fear from the mudslingers.

Ever in your service by the blessings of Lurue, ~Frances Allegretti, Priestess
