Lady Iphraem,
I am writing you this letter in hopes of continuing our debate of some evenings past, during the execution of the half-drow. I would not falsely profess to any prayer to Bane, but I would like to speak with you regardless. We are of opposite minds, I think, and if you'd be willing to join me in private debate on the issues of Sanctuary perhaps we may both walk away.
I do this not because I seek the wisdom of the Black Hand, but because your opinion on the matters discussed that day, so diametrically opposed to my own, was nonetheless polite, sincere, and powerful. It is rare to find a worshiper of the god of Tyrants that is so easy to speak to.
On the off chance we both wind up sitting upon the Council this term, it will be good to get our formal meeting out of the way before hand so that things will go more smoothly. I suggest the Last Stand for our needs. I will pay for the drinks.
May Lurue bless you with a life of joy and adventure, ~Frances Allegretti, Priestess of Lurue, the woman in brown robes and hat
