Yes! Searching, previously reserved for faction PCs with guard rods is now open to everyone. To search someone's inventory, use this voice command:

/c search <target>

This uses a modification of the old system, which now requires the target to actively submit in order for the command to work (unless they are subdued). The target must respond within 15 seconds, or the confirmation will time out.

And yes. While this is scripted in, we would appreciate if you had the courtesy of asking IC first before attempting a search! This will just be annoying if people are approaching each other and attempting searches without any kind of warning beforehand. Roleplay it out, and it will be a lot more enjoyable for yourself and your fellow player.

As always with new features, we would like people to keep an eye out for any bugs, and report them at the earliest opportunity.
