[Left at the Spellguard Tower for Agent Miller]

Agent Miller,

I was told to contact you about performing a task to earn your recommendation. I sincerely hope you will not waste my time with some trivial endeavor.

Akhil Ramana, Last Stand

Akhil Ramana,

IF YOU EVER TAKE THAT TONE WITH ME AGAIN I WILL EXPLODE YOUR HEAD.

If that's clear, I want you to file a report with the portfolios of the current Seekers. I expect it to be complete and detailed. Take whatever time you need.

-- AGENT MILLER

Agent Miller,

Your message is clear. I will have your report ready within the week.

Akhil Ramana, Last Stand

Akhil Ramana,

Here is a list of at least a few current Seekers and Seeker sympathizers.

Seeker Dawn (Myria Chessi?) Toman Vashan Goddard Rindlegaun Bradoc Longpond

I need to know of any others who support these people, or the Seeker organization as a whole, and any Seekers who aren't listed here. I also need to know if they're planning a strike against the Order, and if so, when.

-- AGENT MILLER

Agent Miller,

I have preliminary reports for you on three of the five Seekers you named. I will deliver information on the others as soon as I am able, though I detest the three representatives of their organization I have encountered so far.

Seeker Dawn is a thin woman, hardly threatening, but skilled at dealing with locks and traps (purportedly. On the one occasion I had the displeasure of working with her, she complained incessantly about the traps being beyond her skills. As the traps were set by mere gnolls, I can only assume the fault lies with her). Out of the three I talked to, she seemed least opposed to the Spellguard Order. Then again, she may have merely been hiding her true feelings. Regardless of her views, I do not feel she poses a significant threat to the Order. It may also be of note that I witnessed her openly cooperating with Associate Dentra and another of the Associates in

My first impression of Seeker Vashan leads me to believe he is nothing more than a brash, uneducated boy. In spite of this, his convictions and his physical condition may make him dangerous. While he did not say anything openly about animosity toward the Order, his reaction to learning that I was an arcanist seemed less than enthusiastic. He apparently also informed the gnome, Rindlegaun, that I am a slaver, intent on trapping people for experimentation. I do not know where he got this idea, as I presented the nature of my research openly, without any attempt to hide information.

It puts a bad taste in my mouth, merely seeing these words on paper, but from my initial assessment, it would appear that the gnome is the most dangerous foe among the three I have spoken with. He approached me in the guise of a young human boy, pestering me with questions about whether or not I trapped people in test tubes to do "wizardy experiments." Mastery of such a transmutation is no small feat, as I am sure you are well aware. He expressed obvious hatred of me and my research, and informed me that he does not want me speaking to anymore Seekers. He implied that I might be in league with your Order, though he could provide no proof. As I was in Lower at the time of the accusation, I consider it a direct attempt to provoke harm upon my person. Further investigation into the Seekers is now being conducted by a contact of mine in Lower.

Other things of note: during my conversation with Seeker Rindlegaun, a halfling approached our table inquiring as to whether the Seekers might desire his service. His name was Meriadoc Peram, and I consider him the least of the Order's worries. Wholly pathetic and harmless, not to mention annoying.

I also took note of Seeker Dawn's close ties to the Dwarven Mithrilsoul Company. She was discussing with them the possibility of aid on one of the Seekers' so nobly titled "Freedom Raids," which, from my investigations, seem to be the chief aim of their organization at present.

Seeker Dawn was also seen in the company of a man named Frank Dederich, and that of a woman I later witnessed protesting against the execution of a half-drow by hanging (which was an educational and amusing spectacle).

It is also noteworthy that I have seen or heard nothing of Seekers Longpond and Goddard. It is possible that they may be conspiring against you even as I write this. Of course, there is no telling until one of them is seen in the public.

I will bring you more information as it becomes available. Admittedly, I am not accustomed to work of this nature. My contact in Lower, however, has proven competent so far at observing things he was not meant to observe. He does not know that his work is being conducted for the sake of the Spellguard, either. There will be no ties back to you.

Akhil Ramana, Last Stand

[Another note is left for Agent Miller, sealed with wax.]

Akhil Ramana,

Very well! I will grant my reccommendation. Don't make me regret it!

Good luck.
