Please, contact the Watch and tell them what you saw of our interaction in which I loaned him 100 coins for one of your wands. That is all the Watch needs to hear, is whether the coins were loaned or not.

To be accurate, you said that you would cover the 30 coins that he was short. I am not sure if you considered it a gift or a loan.

Nonetheless, I informed Watchman Brinson that Drin owes you at least 70 coins.

My apologies if I caused trouble by asking you to pay the remainder of his cost, but I assumed that the two of you were allies and were unlikely to dispute that amount of coin.
