Redrafted: Nightfall 6th :: Year 152 Incident Report: Undead Activities Date: Nightal 1st :: Year 152

The connection between the ghost and these events may or may not have any relevance, however, the ambiguity of the situation calls for any and all possible connections to be brought up and investigated. The first source being the negative energy unleashed during the Donrick's ball. That situation was created by the a orb of negative energy summoning many forms of powerful undead into the area. This occurred on the 16th of last month, and no news has been released concerning the orbs current status.

Since then, I have gathered reports that claim this situation was marked by clouds of darkness leaking from the source. I have seen this situation repeated a few days after the event within the Hoaran Shrine. Here the entirety of the temple became doused into the dark, and at least one doom knight was spotted. From the darkness it had proclaimed that it would take back this temple soon. I've caught fleeting statements from a variety of people that have suggested this situation and ones like it have been seen within other areas of the city. If this situation truly did spread, then it could easily be effecting all areas that are vulnerable to the negative energy, perhaps including Upper's Mausoleum.

This is the only incident I can prove, therefore its the only one I will bring up, for tavern tales are oft times unreliable. If you have anything further you'd like to update me on Private, I would both appreciate the gesture, and work towards following up any leads.

Also, on another topic, did the Late-Lieutenant submit any report on the assault case this morning? Nightfall 6th.

I have seen no report of any assaults coming from the Lieutenant this morning, so anything you can tell me concerning it would help. Do you believe the orb had been placed at the Hoaran Shrine when the events of your report happened, and that it may be moving around Sanctuary? When was the latest report of any such undead activity? Sadly, there is nothing I can add to this information, but I'll see what I can learn.

We cannot allow the Undead to rise at the Mausoleum. I'll see if I can figure out where the orb was placed after the incident at the Donrick Mansion, as there are two places I can think of where it may have been placed. Should it be gone from either of those or if noone knows what happened with it after the incident, then I fear we may have a growing problem in that direction too. If you hear anything else regarding this, kindly send another letter and I'll see what can be done. Adress it to me, so we can both be sure that it's safe from those who would merely disregard it and toss it wherever they see fit. I would suggest getting Drin of New Dunwarren to help out, as he has great knowledge of the Undead and will be able to help us out no matter what others may think.

Regarding the other matter, I have found nothing yet.

I find it highly unlikely that the orb needed to be in those specific locations. They did something to turn it on at the ball, and I believe that may have had a residual effect on the city. I would go as far as to say that it may have actually increased the sizes of the rifts to the negative energy plane we already still on top of. The Spellguard likely have more answers concerning this, but due to the fact that they may still be trying to use the orb to power their machines, I find it highly unlikely they would be willing to cooperate.
