Today it brings me great pleasure to announce that Necromancy, specially; Animation of the Dead has now been outlawed. The direct animation of our brothers and sisters within the borders of Dunwarran is expressedly forbidden! No petty loop-holes to let the wretched and guilty escape fitting punishment, no more men animating undead servants to lure foolish men to their deaths in Arenas under the guise of glory and riches! There will be no more!

It is steps like these that improve Sanctuary, and for those who voiced their concern and their support of this law; I thank you. It is laws like these which make us better than the Drow, Illithid, Orogs. While they forsake their humanity; Maintaining slaves, animating the dead, acting without moral or compassion... we will not! We will prove that Sanctuary is a city set apart from those found in these depths, a place not only of Freedom in the most literal aspects but also a place of outstanding moral!
