Letter to Drin

I am Great Druid Moss, a servant of Sheela Peryoyl.

I understand as a Servant of Arvoreen that you defend the hin with the blessings of the Wary sword, and this is something I can respect, despite you being a Paragon of Civilization I have come to despise.

We will need to speak more in person, I wander the mines often, and if you do your duty, you patrol them regularly, perhaps we will encounter each other.

Great Druid moss

Druid Moss,

I have no qualms with your way of life or choices as you are a hin and the majority of us have a free spirit deep with in us.

I am willing to meet with you as well as offer you something that someone of your ilk may find useful in your travels.

Please let me know when you are available. *signed*

Drin Shieldarm of Arvoreen Warden of New Dunwarren

You have forgotten the teachings of Yondalla's children, Why? Because you claim to follow the only path, but the Other of Yondalla's children tread and teach a different one, are you saying they are wrong, Drin of New Dunwarren?

You have corrupted your belief in Arvoreen into a Self-pretentious and contemptuous being who looks down on those who don't share your views and you have blamed Shade for having looked for guidance from others than yourself.

The Watchful Mother teaches us to be one with nature, you have not revered the land, you killed a spider this dark merely because it was dangerous, I am dangerous as well, will you kill me for it?

Urogalan, the Lord of the Earth teaches us to respect the dead, you have not acknowledged that Rabbit has died, and Shade now is her part. Hatred consumes her, yet you merely fan it, perhaps Showing her what it means to love will cure her from what you call the wrong path.

Cyrrollalee teaches us to be generous, and accept differences within each other and share the same hearth in companionship and friendship, you have turned your back on the halfling shade, and therefore continue her lack of faith in Yondalla's children. Shall you forsake the Day of Discovery?

Yondalla teaches us to tend to the old and young, Shade is a Young halfling, she needs to be guided by fellow halflings, merely because she follows Pain does not mean there is no hope for her.

Brandobaris teaches us to take a Thrill in life, you have forgotten how to laugh I suspect, for the sheer sake of laughing, are you so cold as to not know the pain of another, one who has no longer the heart to smile for the sake of smiling because of the pain it brings? The pain of merely walking?

We are all part of the balance, the rural and the tamed must be tended in equal measures, I think Rabbit is the Rural, the wild, and you are the Tamed part, perhaps you should set aside your differences and find what you have in common.

You once said the ghostwise are silly hins who are often wise, then heed there wisdom, and listen to the Others of Yondalla's children.

Moss.

Moss,

Your rhetoric and recital of the Hin faiths is commendable, however unnecessary.

You have little knowledge of the past Rabbit and I shared, or the path of chaos she has wrought in her swath. My oath the Wary Sword is one of defense, not counseling or redemption. If Rabbit chooses to turn away from the teachings I have given her, then that is her choice, I will not force them on her. She has rebuked the teachings of all of the gods of hinkind, only to turn to a dark and evil force that broods pain and endless torment.

Additionally, if you turn to be a danger to hinkind, then yes, you will be dealt with if it is deemed necessary. Though I honestly hope that never comes to bear.

If you have further issues with me, I can be found in the Temple in New Dunwarren. *signed*
