Caretaker

I have added my name to the list you put up asking for any assitance in your duties. In additioin to that i would ask you view the attached copy of a letter i sent to the Council regarding the role of Caretaker which i submitted. Whilst i wasn't successful and you were i would hope that you would consider first my assitance and secondly some of the suggestions in the letter.

I would like to officially apply for the position of 'Caretaker' of the Mauseloum.

I am a priest or 'Talhund' as my people refer to us, of Dumathoin. Dumathoin is, amoungst other things, the guardian of the dwarven dead and as such i believe i would be as well placed as any to manage the care of the dead of Sanctuary.

I have many ideas i would like to seek to enacted.

Firstly i would seek to establish a safe, secure and peaceful resting place for all of our dead.

Secondly would seek to establish a forge of Dumathoin. This would be a fire, hot and powerful enough to destroy any undead items that may be found in the ruins of this place or elsewhere.

Thirdly i would seek to establish a small volunteer staff for the Mauseloum, made up of the followers of Dumathoin, Kelemvor, Segojan Earthcaller, Urogalan and Sehanine Moonbow, so that the dead of all races can be treated as they should.

This unfunded but Council Sanctioned group could also seek ways of driving back the undead of the ruins and could become a respository of all such information.

Please write any rsponse to the Last Stand.

Your plans coincide fairly closely with my own, although I'll be seeking to fund the staff of the Mausoleum, as people rarely have the ability to work for free. If you could look into the semantics of constructing the forge and the costs involved in it, I'll see what I can do to raise the needed funding.

I'll not turn away any worthy assistance.
