Well, we could create a cage in the arena area and bring some undedark animals to fight against the gladiators. Surely a fight against a creature will result in death, either of the creature or of the gladiator.
This might add a little IG taste, as the druids will surely be against such acts...

In this, I'd sure as be with the druids, even IF I'm called a 'rothe-hugger' for it. Why? Well, for an IC reason for my Paladin, it's not justice, it's murder. And second, a personal reason, animals arn't play-things.

Do it. Anybody here play... oh, what was it called? Oh yeah, Jade Empire. They and Fable had one of the single sweetest gladiatorial setups ever, and it was fun as heck. Oblivion has one, some older games had 'em. All successful. Do it.

sounds good, I mean, just the other day some dm controlled druid meteor showered a group I was in, unfortunately I had to log off shortly after I blew him up with a critical hit, (just sayin that so you guys know I didn't log cuz I couldn't handle it.) but it'd be pretty cool to see some real druid resistance to all this. Plus it would provide reward money for the arena matches, and maybe we could create items called cages that could pick up creatures that are either knocked down, paralyzed, stunned, or under the affect of hold person, then we'd be able to sell creatures to the arena, providing even more pay! Wow, sounds like quite the business, and sure to face much druid opposition, which is fun to crush by the way.
One of my favourite DM quests involved our group capturing a certain monster for a certain person. If you want to go hunting, all you need is luck, chains or ropes and a willing DM!
Someone to sell the bugger to afterwards helps as well.

Add that to a Paladin's resistance... and probably a number of Greycloaks. However, I only speak for myself in this.
