For some reason, Immunity to Mind Affecting Spells does not work, against the mind spells fired off by the boss of this quest.

No idea why, but also of note is that after he killed me because of said bug, I kept the immunity to mind spells buff, in the Fugue, for a good minute or so.

Which spells?

I'm quite sure that it doesn't or shouldn't protect against its concussion ability.

I was hit with a Hold Person, and then whichever death spell he likes to fire off.

Don't know if the second one is mind effecting (though there was a will save involved), however I know that Clarity should protect against at least Hold Person.

I'll do some testing later with him.

I got phked three times today and clarity protected me. So, I think this is a bug with Seer.

Fear save and Mind effect saves are different.

I just tested this quest and did not have this problem you guys had. Report again as it happens I guess.

You may have had clarity and PfA both up, and the clarity (which is very short-duration) wore off, while the PfA remained (giving you the mind spells buff descriptor still). Or you may have lagged clientside.
