Event 11 was a wild and wooly affair for all involved.
Rasputov continued his winning ways with a gutsy victory over Enigma. Rasputov was promoted.
Larek of Black Lion defeated Dram Anger in a first round tournament match.
Baboli the Hellhound defeated Warren von Blimkorkin in a first round tournament match. Warren sadly perished in the battle. It should be noted that during the fray, Baboli's four-legged companion Kolor spit a small bit of fire at Warren. The fire had no real effect on Warren, and Baboli gave him a free shot to make up for the accident. Still, this caused some controversy, particularly among Warren's fellow gnomes, and especially as Warren died in the battle.
In a battle of undefeated Tier 4 fighters, Ricky the Rotten Razor Ratclaws defeated Pug in an exciting tilt.
As the tournament final between Larek and Baboli was about to begin, #1 ranked gladiator Gnomercy took exception to the events of the earlier match, and outright slew Kolor on the spot. Baboli was incensed and beat Gnomercy within an inch of his life during a wild brawl that raged through the stands. Gnomercy was only saved from death by some timely healing, combined with fans and gladiators pulling Baboli off him.
To settle the dispute, the next fight was changed to pit Gnomercy versus Baboli. In a close fought, riverting clash, Gnomercy claimed victory - and Baboli's life. It should be noted however, that she died from wounds suffered in the battle itself, as opposed to Gnomercy running her through when she was already down.
In the new main event, Larek of Black Lion ended Gnomercy's undefeated run in yet another very closely contested affair. Larek began by attacking Gnomercy's legs, most of which Gnomercy easily dodged. Eventually, Larek settled on a more direct approach and handed Gnomercy his first victory, a result that has thrown the top level rankings into disarray.
As Larek's only loss was when ganged up against in a three way rumble, and the fact that he is a seasoned warrior who has defeated several of the top gladiators in one-on-one combat, rumors are milling that another victory could mean Larek of Black Lion could be the first official gladiator to reach Champion of Sanctuary status.
