[Letter left at the Watch House]

To whom it may concern,

I am writing to you to express my deep approbation for the work of one of your officers, namely, Private Rodon Brinson.

The matter was rather trivial. It had to do with an Underdark prowler feline being kept within the walls of the city. There is no point in going into details, as it was already handled with great expertise by the said Private. At any rate, he has shown a good deal of prudence when he decided to act upon it. I suppose that in order to survive in the harsh environment that surrounds us it is imperative to maintain protection against threats from both within and without, as well as consistency and a sense of law and order in the society. One might say that he was just doing his duty. But again, taking into account the unimportance of the issue, many men would simply disregard it.

I believe that the Watch would be delighted to have more fine men like Private Brinson in their ranks. If the opinion of the common folk bears any meaning to you, you should consider rewarding the Private for his vigilant service.

Kind regards, Adelle Blau
