Letters: Lothor, Crowshire, Deepingdale, Cheval

To: Lieutenant Lothor / Jacelyn Cheval / Andrew Deepingdale / Wyric Crowshire From: Frances Allegretti, School of War

**URGENT**

Dear sir,

It has come to my attention that the Councilor Jonathan Redd intends to use our Arena as a battlegrounds during which death matches will be held for sport. Obviously this aggression will not stand and I will personally be ejecting him from the Arena should he decide to go ahead with his plans. I am willing to concede to tournaments of non-lethal combat, but I suspect he will be unwilling to cooperate. Therefore, I am writing to get your support on the matter of prosecution for those committing murder during his events, in addition to requesting a charge of Endangerment of Sanctuary to Councilor Redd himself should anyone die during his events.

It is obvious to me that a man of his kind, exceedingly depraved, is simply interested in bloodsport and has no noble intentions whatsoever. Since the first time I saw him he has displayed sole interest in his own station, going so far as to stake a claim of ownership to the Arena, and publicly musing about the possibilities of seeing citizens die in battle. As you are a member of the leading governance of Sanctuary, I understand you have a duty to keep the peace in addition to perserving the strength and lives of the citizens of Sanctuary. Therefore, I expect your support in making certain Jonathan Redd doesn't have his way. Sanctioning death matches is a dangerous path that can easily lead to an appreciation for life equal or lesser to that held by certain other races I'm sure you're all intimately familiar with.

Please see to it that this matter is discussed with great haste amongst your organization. I can be reached at the School of War, where I hope to be gathering signatures to show public support against death matches in Sanctuary.

I would like to elaborate that my position is against death for sport, not duels to the death in matters of high honour. which I find distasteful but necessary for some.

May Lurue bless you with a long and fruitful life, ~Frances Allegretti, Priestess of Lurue, Professor at the School of War

Councillor Redd is seeking to expel your current headmaster, and seems to have council majority on his side. I do not share his view, but unless your letter changes something, it is likely Headmaster will change or position will be removed entirely.

I will keep you informed.

Respectfully, Wyric Crowshire

Unfortunately the council majority has spoken, and the entire staff has been dismissed. If you are looking for new purpose, I might be able to assist you.

Please speak to me in person.

Respectfully, Wyric Crowshire
