A letter sent to Magus Kharat

A letter written with an exquisite handwriting, with long and swirling letters.

Nightal the 27th, Year 150, 1372 of Dale Reckoning.

Magus Kharat, Temporary Envoy of the Empire of Thay,

I bid you a welcome in the Lands Below. Allow me to introduce myself. I am Michael de la Rey, a Wizard currently in the service of the Spellguard, as an Associate. I hail from the independant town known as Waterdeep, a metropolis surely known by you.

In the last decade on the surface, I have been a Wizard-Retainer for the Noble House of Lady Hlanta Melshimber. Prior to my establishment there, however, I have been studying different Planes. While I fear I am, by no means, an expert on Planar-travelling, my research has dealt with this to some extent.

My studies encompassed researching the difference between Planes, and the discrepantial in time; To look at how a man ages when walking Planes. I fear, however, that I have never myself visited another plane, nor seen a ritual on how to, I do hold myself knowledgable on this subject. Perhaps my knowledge and your's may lead to a route of this hell.

I can be contacted at the Rock Bottom Inn.

In hopes of a fruitful cooperation,

A signature, elegantly depticting: 'De la Rey'.

Spellguard Associate De la Rey.

I am extremely pleased at the response from the magical community I have so far received and it sounds like your input would be valuable. I will seek you out at our earliest mutual opportunity so we can discuss in greater detail what needs to be done for the Effort.
