Esteemed Private,
I am writing as a formal show of support for the actions of Agent Elapidae during my tournament. I am without a doubt certain that the creature he conjured was nothing more than an illusion, and absolutely not an abominable undead creature. Further, this Friday I will be hosting a lesson at the School of War, during which the Agent will making a public apology for the misinterpretation of his summoning. At such a time, again he will have my formal support.

I hope that should suffice as far as the letter you asked me to write. On a more personal matter I would like to bend your ear a moment in regards to Rabbit / Sorrooke, the halfling who enjoys running about the city in red and black armor, hurling stones and stabbing people with her dagger.
Numerous times, within the School of War, she has assaulted me, fully intent on doing me a great deal of harm. I have weathered it quite patiently. When she was murdered outside of the city last cycle, I took it upon myself, not a warrior as you know, to march her from just beyond the Troll caves to the safety of Sanctuary. Once I arrived, I also paid the 1000 coin to have her raised back to life.
I have risked my life enough times trying to get this halfling to see the light of reason, and so I bought her armor from her for the price of 1000 coins so that she could be raised. The armor is currently in and of my possessions and I stake a full legal claim to it. I've put up a poster saying that I will be selling it a week from now, but I do not intend to; even with my confidence, I believe that it lingers too far over the line of selling stolen property. Therefore, barring any direct assaults on my person (which she has threatened now in writing but not yet committed), I will be giving her a week in which she can earn it back from me, either by way of 1000 coins or good behaviour.
The reason I am writing you this is to ask for your support and the support of your organization by allowing me to handle this outside of the normal order of Law. You're familiar with my character, I take it, and so you know I am not being greedy, or selfish, or criminal. On the chance that any further crimes are committed by her, I will be willing to testify against her and press charges of assault with intent to kill (each time has been with stones or daggers), but I am asking that for now you allow her the chance of redemption. Further, I ask that despite the outcry of uninvolved individuals, some coming from the School itself, you not attempt to take back the armor I've rightfully bought; I do not intend to pass it on into the murky depths of Sanctuary just for a few coins; this is a test of Sorrooke's character, and her last chance to earn my help.
Please send a reply with your answer, and if you are agreeable, then speak with your fellow Watchmen on my behalf. I will be most grateful for a quickly penned reply, as I hold no doubts in my mind that she may try to take it by force before her week is through.
Lurue's blessings and may your strength and bravery serve you well, ~Frances Allegretti, Priestess of Lurue
