Casting while invisible can now be heard by nearby PCs. This will be communicated via a yellow message in the combat log, which will read something like:

"You hear the sound of chanting nearby"

We hope that this will contribute to more realistic gameplay

This is from the announcements section, what I am wondering is if you happen to take silent spell feat does this still apply?

Anyone test this? DM's?

Spells without a verbal component and spells cast with the silent spell metamagic shouldn't trigger this effect.
