Esteemed Members of the Council of Sanctuary,

My name is Frances Allegretti, Priestess of Lurue and Professor at the School of War. Having read just a short time ago about the new position opening up in the Sanctuary Library, I felt it was my duty to send in my application right away. Regrettably, I have no idea what format to use, so I'll give an estimation of my qualifications and what I can bring to the position.

Having spent several years in close association with the Azuthan clergy I have a working knowledge on the care and upkeep of books, both of sustainable quality and of delicate antiques. Though my knowledge of lore is not on the same unquestionable level as that of the former councilor Adelia Tyrell, I fully intend to make it part of my duty to hire on numerous and dedicated staff whose specialization will be in historic lore.

I will be working with the general citizens of Sanctuary to encourage more contributions to the library, and the training of new scribes from amongst our populace so that should the worst fate befall those upon whom we are reliant now we may always be in a good position to mark our places in history.

I'll do my best to foster donations to the library through contests of fictional and non-fictional writing, hopefully contributing something worthwhile to the idle adventurer with a fondness for books.

I'm not familiar with the charter in place for the library, but I'll be more than willing to uphold the typical librarianisms requisite for this post. Please send a reply to me at the School of War should you be at all interested in hiring me.

I am writing you in regards to my application for the administrative position at the Sanctuary Library. I'm just wondering if the Council has had the chance to make a decision on this yet. Considering the ample quantity of matters facing the Council, I hope I'm not being rude in encouraging a quick resolution.

There are a good many intelligent and suitable candidates for library staff that I would have it in mind to hire, in addition to a few unique programs I'd like to instigate. Please send just a short reply as soon as you can so I know where we stand on the matter.
