For Drin at the Temple of Tyr

I lied to you. Rabbit isn't dead.

I was there when she killed herself, I saw her do it. I was about to stop her but she was too quick with her sword. I carried her through the Underdark. I took her to the Hold. The priest there raised her. But--she wanted to remain hidden. She didn't want anyone to know she was alive.

I visited her while she was in hiding. But now she's come out. And she's gone. She says she's no longer Rabbit. That the Rabbit she was was weak, that she died because of me. And who she is now is somebody else.

I tried everything I could think of to stop her from this... insanity. But I couldn't. She won't stop. I don't know what to do. I need your help more than ever now.

[upon reading the letter, Drin can be heard swearing one of the few times in his life. He angrily inks a response]

Sev,

Had I read this letter prior, I would not have trusted you further. The fact that you lied to me, particularly on this matter, has cost you my trust.

I will speak to you soon. And you had better not shy away like you usually do. I am quite tired of your shirking of responsibility.
