Heya, just made a kobold and realized how tough it was to get past lvl 2... If anyone feels like making a kobold or goblin (or has a kobold or goblin) and wants to fool around a little, I figured it would be fun to do so at the same time.
If your interested, leave some of the times you would be available, and your timezone, in this thread.
Yip! Is on CET (GMT +1) Is playing always on week-end!

Gladly would make myself available to you as a goblin if you have a goblin PC that I spot server side.
Give me lead time on the forums and I'll try to be there whenever.

I mostly mean to play this kobold I just created since I for some reason got stuck in the idea of him. Also goblins just don't appeal to me in the same way as the little scaly buggers.
Just mentioning this since running around as a lvl 2 kobold is not as fun as it sounds when the server is occupied by lvl 5+ standard races.

I love playing kobolds, and I've already got one going right now. If we meet IG, I'm pretty sure he wouldn't mind having the company. I know there's also a decent-sized goblin player faction if you want to try your hand at a goblin (although I think kobolds are way cooler).

I've never played a kobold or plan to but I would say stick with it. Kobolds have alot of good resources in EFU (Shadow Tribe, traders, hideouts, etc).
If you want to form a little kobold entourage i'm sure you can, just stick with it. EFU needs vareity :)

Is there a forum discussion group for Kobolds, or shalt I need to join the goblin one?
Forgive my (compared to my kobold) ridiculous lack of lore.

I've been planning to make a kobold for a while now! Unfortunately, I just made another character that took my fancy. I will be totally willing to make a kobold side though!

Info on kobolds:
http://forgottenrealms.wikia.com/wiki/Kobold
Look at this part:
Kobold garments have conservative lines, not exposing bare scales in a suggestive way.
"Hey babe, nice scales!" LOL

Yeah, I heard Oro just took out all of Traensyr with a level two kobold...
Might do this, if my bard doesn't live for another five minutes.

I wanna give this post a bump. <3 Kobolds. If you don't know what to play, play a kobold, and see where it goes!
Just my opinion, but I love the little guys.
I wish we just had more of them, scurrying about Lower. :(
So donate your time. Each second makes a difference.

Due to quite large IC reasons, the kobold population is currently pretty controlled...
Though, they have always been my favorites. Mechanically worse than goblins, RP'ly so much better.

I've actually been thinking about making a Cleric of Kurtulmak. Now seems like a good time to act on that.

It'd be a laugh. I'm GMT, play time is primarily weekends, not been around here for a while. Was considering a reptile based Druid. You know, Stone Lizard companion, that sort of thing. Dunno how well it'd work as a Kobold. But I'd consider the idea.

A druid kobold would be awesome, but the Kobold god Kurtulmak is not on the druids list and would probably need an app to come to fruition. Maybe a NE kobold druid of Malar would be acceptable? (
Probably an app too though.)

All races have druids, except abberant ones.
Masth the Kobold druid was a druid of talona, and was not an app character.

There are a count of about five kobolds right now, last time I checked! There's more to it than just that, but you'll see if you make a kobold.

Interesting little story I found and thought to share with you all...
Kobolds; children of Tiamat, created by Kurtulmak
In the kobold creation myth, Kurtulmak--and all kobolds by extension--owes his existence to an assault launched on Tiamat by an army of thieves shortly after she had laid a clutch of eggs. Badly injured and with her lair heavily damaged, she caused one of her eggs to hatch, thus creating Kurtulmak. The newly-hatched godling quickly began creating a defensive perimeter of traps and restoring the caverns. During the process, Kurtulmak found an egg of Tiamat's that had fallen away from the nest and, deeming it had been away for too long to ever hatch naturally, used his magic to cause it to hatch, thus producing miniature versions of himself- the first Kobolds.

Children of Tiamat..... that means they are Evil... and must die now!!! (Just kidding...) but I can see why IC they try to keep the population down.
