Captain Mordis,
The first attack is a warning. The next one will not be.
I urge you to reconsider my offer. As you have seen, we are not afraid to take down our enemies wherever they stand. Even more troubling for you, I think, is that we are capable of getting away.
Leave Kenning or Die. It is a simple choice.

Dearest landlubber,
How could someone so well-bred become so ill-mannered? Quit my command or die? What kind of a barbarian are you? At least you could have had the courtesy to offer a bribe or some other kind of inducement, but as thin as your budget must be, I am hardly surprised. It must be expensive to fail so spectacularly so often.
What I have seen is that you have culled the city of nearly all its half-rate assassins, until you were finally forced to send your own first mate to come after me personally. Like everything else you have done so far, this too proved a failure. Armed with more enchantments than a Spellguard Agent on holiday, the wretched scamp still ran out of the city on her hind legs.
I had nothing to do with whatever crimes you were accused of, and your father told me personally that he wished to see you vindicated of the charges. In spite of your feud with my employer, out of respect for your father I was entirely prepared to offer you a legal way to return home at no small expense to myself. But here again you have failed, choosing instead to go on a murderous rampage at the expense of your father's good name.
As it is far too costly to mount a legal defense against the numerous crimes you have now certainly committed, you have effectively priced yourself out of the Macasta household. You had the chance to clear your name, return to your father's estate, and presumably plot your revenge in the safety and comfort of Sanctuary. That chance is forever gone thanks to you and you alone.
Read this letter carefully, because I will not be wasting my time responding to any more of your pathetic pleas for surrender. I will never resign my command, and if you were a true captain you would know that already. I have clearly overestimated you. What I mistook in you for an admirable hatred toward your sister is apparently little more than the passing tantrum of a spoiled child. You are nothing compared to Elza, and your father knows it.
You are dead to him now, and it is only a matter of time before you are dead to everyone else.
