[letter to Adelia Tyrell] DM

Miss Tyrell,

I am greatly in need of your knowledge. I believe there has been a serious mishap at the Archibald residence in connection with the murder of Mendrick Archibald concerning his son, Alexander. I have spent a good part of the day pouring through every book I could find in the library and bookstore, but to no avail. I know that Mendrick was an author and a very smart man, and most likely a very powerful mage. I also know that his son is also a powerful magician, was extremely public and politically involved up until Eleint of 151. My most important question is where has Alexander been, and what has he been doing? There have been no records of activity for the past year, raising the question if he is even still alive.

Also, if you know anything about the case of Murp Tessel, the accused murderer of Mendrick or the circumstances of the murder, your help would be most greatly appreciated in seeking the truth of the matter.

Lastly, something I could find absolutely nothing about-- what mutual interest has brought the Falkland and Archibald families together?

I sincerely appreciate your time, and I give my word to repay you however you deem acceptable. The truth will be found.

Thank you again,

Painbearer of Lord Ilmater Protector of Lower Sanctuary

Mr. Westmore,

As a historian, I tend to know what's been written, and since my retirement, I've tried to avoid paying much attention to politics - so much so that I've tried to retreat to the Shrine here, poring over the maps and puzzles the Seekers bring me.

Have you thought to send a letter to the Archibald estate?

Oghma bless your search, Adelia Tyrell

I went there, but something felt terribly amiss. I was unable to speak with Mister Alexander Archibald. My next effort will be to try reaching him through letter, but I need to find his signature to verify it is actually Archibald. Would you happen to have any records or documents with his signature on it for comparison?

Lucius
