Dear Seeker,

It seems as if I have become the target of a very peculiar and very anonymous campaign. I'm not sure the effects of the magnitude of all this, but I humbly request your guidance in this matter as I'm quite unsure how to proceed.

For your enlightenment, the first verbal attack came from a fellow named Clarion. I believe the matter has been settled, but I've yet to actually speak with the misguided Clarion to know for sure.

After this, there has been a slew of very unusual slanderous posters. The first was from "The Spellguard", noting that they supported me. I haven't the slightest idea who actually wrote it. I did recently send a letter to the Spellguard that may have upset them, as they have been trying to contact me in secret for some time. I don't enjoy that kind of company, so I requested that they be more straightforward if they intended to speak with me.

Another possibility is that when I was speaking with a chap in the Crone, an alleged Spellguard agent under the guise of invisibility said something along the lines of, "The Spellguard wants to talk." This is was one of the many reasons prompting the previously mentioned letter. It may have been overheard by a man named Hold Strakyr, or something along those lines, who seemed very interested in the Guardians and their purpose. I informed him their true purpose, but perhaps he did not believe me, coupled with this cryptic Spellguard sneaking around...

Then there is a chap named Tanner, who says he works as a cook over at the Beacon. He confronted me the other day, saying that I was "Nothing but an Upper supporter." I reviewed my history, my current projects, all these things, but he seemed so convinced and full of malice, I'm not sure he was able to be reasoned with at the time. ((Following only to Dawn)) Perhaps due to your special position, you can speak with him and reassure him I am most assuredly not working with the Spellguard, as you well know. ((end))

Perhaps there are more Cyricists that persist after the end of the Red Skulls?

Perhaps it is this Lt. Mordis fellow who has so openly opposed me?

Again, even if I knew who was causing this slanderous mess- what can I do? I've done nothing wrong, never done anything at all to help the Spellguard so far as I know!

I have not felt so vulnerable in a very long time. I humbly request your help, your wisdom, or any other sort of aid you can render me.

Your right in more ways then one. The Spellguard are doing everything they can to screw with the peace. They've been marching around lower stalking people for the past week or so. Even their Associates have been making numerous forays into the streets. We'll speak with Clarion, though her distaste was started when you declared your intent against the Fey. Many of the people that were always vocal against you are the same ones 'falling' for the Spellguard's ploy. Very few people actually believe you would do such a thing. I would be weary if the Spellguard have taken a liking to you. You could be amazed at how easily people will bend to them for a few copper. Many like Lower weak, and all change will meet resistance. I'm afraid that this is only the beginning. We should speak, Soon.
