Now a rat weighs about 5 pounds. A typical rat cage weighs about 5 pounds.
Why do the rat cages in the module weigh 30.5 pounds? I really think it can be reduced slightly.
I had a four foot by four foot cage to hold my pet rabbits. It weighed about 15 pounds, and held two full size rabbits one of which weighed 20 pounds *roughly four times the size of a even a largish rat*.
Even a direrat probably can't weigh more than 20 pounds itself. So I'm really suggesting the weight of the cages be lowered. As it is, my half orc with a 16 strength can barely carry a single cage around.
