Lieutenant,
I am gravely concerned about the conduct of Pvt. Sten. We battled goblins together earlier today, and at the first sign of danger from the monstrous two headed creature they followed Sten fled the battlefield, leaving everyone else with him to die. He gave no indication of his intention to save his own hide at our expense, and we were all forced to scatter. Another elf and I suffered grievous wounds and, only after a second elf killed the remaining goblins, we were able to be revived.
Sten's conduct has given rise to grave doubts about his capacity to serve in the Watch. Though I would not care to see him expelled (as he is capable with that monstrous axe of his), some manner of repercussions may be called for.
