Letter to Dakul, Jach, Mebrith, and Lucius

Dear associates-

I have informed all of you of my plans, and I will re-iterate.

Tomorrow when the most of us are available, I am going to move in with my friends, and The Dragon mercenary company to claim the Lower Bazaar (A.K.A the Delve, Lower Trade building) and the Wench's Clench.

I have already began hiring beggars to clean up the area, and am prepared in every possible way.

I intend to hire Lowersmen to keep the area clean, and keep the merchants safe, I also intend to build a Shrine to Waukeen in the Trade building.

I intend to renovate the side hall way to make room for Bunks and beds for my Retainers/friends and associates.

The Stoutheart clan will claim a building in the area I have set up to make their clan home, and may build a shrine to Vergadin.

I will keep the goblins and the Kobolds out of the area, thereby keeping them from buying supplies.

Winston has approved of this plan.

If you have last minute objections and questions, ask them now.

~Allivarn Fireheart

May Waukeen Bless.

Lord Fireheart,

Myself and the rest of my Company stand ready to march under your banner at all times.

As per our agreement, we of the Dragon's Tail will -not- be killing any citizens of Lower under any circumstances. If you do not find this to be agreeable, then our contract will have to be nullified.

Also, try not to wear any of your expensive garments whilst walking through Lower. It's citizens seem to have grown a sudden fondness for rotten fruit and rothe dung.

Safe travels, Mebrith. First Captain of the Dragon's Tail.

*Allivarn's original letter and Dakul's response are copied to Clan Stoutheart.*

Al,

This summary of our agreement is accurate and acceptable.

I would reiterate that we desire a building, or suitable part of a building, that is on the street side of the main Lower thoroughfare. Meaning, not in a back alley or anyplace with lightning. This building, or part of a building, needs to be a suitable place for clansmen to sleep when traveling in Lower and a place where Krovus may trade as well as have room for the shrine to Vergadain we spoke of.

I have asked that one of our Sonniliths currently located in Lower, G'dank Earthhammer, as well as Darragh Farwalker and Snorri Gotrek all assist you. Snorri takes special enjoyment from doing charity work, so be sure to include him in that which you mentioned to me in our conversation. I'm sure he would be a perfect candidate to head up the charitable efforts on behalf of this enterprise. Darragh is a particularly tough fighter, and can reasonably be counted on to maintain security. You will have to work with them to find out when and if they will each be available.

If there are any monetary expenses that you wish the clan to share in, I will provide what is necessary.

Dakul Ironbeard Elder, Clan Stoutheart

Dak, See if you can get your dwarves ready if they wish to aid, we will begin in 45 minutes.

Mebrith- We begin in 45 minutes.

~ALlivarn Fireheart.

Mister Fireheart,

I apologize for not being there for the move. I understand that there has been some sort of mishap due to misunderstanding. I hope that all things are well.

That being said, I wish to make a few points known. First, I do not believe the Stouthearts should come to Lower. They have a shaky reputation amongst the people as being extraordinarily supportive of the Watch. They would do best, for their sake and Lower's, to remain in Upper Sanctuary.

Also, I would suggest against taking control of the Wench's Clench. Step softly, move slowly. You're making this appear to be an invasion. After the Auction House is well established, then proceed as you like.

These are my suggestions. Good luck,

Lucius
