[Lt. Lothor, Watch Port House]

Salutations,

The United Merchants and Citizens guild of the Sanctuary Canal Ward district wish to know if you, Lieutenant Lothor, formally sponsor and recognize the attacks that one Lucius Westmore is attempting to conduct on the Dark Fey of the Canal. Your prompt answer is appreciated. Leave word at the Siren for us on the Watch's official opinion.

If you fail us in this, we promise we will ruin your career until we get a Lieutenant we like and keeps us safe.

- U.M.C.G.

Dear U.C.M.G.,

The Sanctuary Watch does not support irresponsible acts which could lead to civilians of Sanctuary to suffer needlessly for the greed of a few men. It is my understanding that assaulting the feys would likely cause a great many death and anger the sleeping giant that lays on the coast. As well as remove a buffer that countered invasions from the Kua-toans, Drow and worst.

If you do not feel safe by my actions, then I have failed the very people I have sworn to protect with my life. Consider your call for help understood loud and clear and that myself and my men are always servants of the people first and foremost.

As for the merchants among us, we shall simply have to think and figure out of a smarter way to travel on the Canal. It has been done in the past and we shall repeat that exploit without endangering the city.

I thank you for your letter of concern and will do everything in my power to alledge your worries.

- Lt. Lothor, Sanctuary Watch.

You've proven to be a sound leader, and tactful in the past. We simply wish to know that our investments in the area are safe. If there is a way to rid the canal of the dark fey and keep it safe from other Underdark native raiders, by all means you have our support. We've been itching to begin exporting goods, but as you can likely understand, are apprehensive and hope that things have been thought through entirely.

That said, if you can find a way for us to export our goods, we will have a fine reward for your success.

Sincerely,

U.C.M.G.
