Drin, New Dunwarren.

Drin,

Concerning that young woman that we met. I spent some time with her after you left. I was able to learn that both she and her family were harmed by humans in the past, if that helps you understand her strange behavior. Her father, as best I can tell, was a Shieldarm like yourself. Sadly, it seems the man was horribly bias and racist, telling her and her ilk that all of the "talls" are the embodiment of evil and sin. I have tried to convince her to see otherwise. Regrettably, in my efforts, I dishonored myself by lying to the girl in hopes of easing her worries. She didn't accept what I had to tell her. I both suggest and humbly ask that, should you see her again, you try to teach her that not everything over four feet tall wants to slice her up and serve her with a side of vegetables. It will take more than telling her about Aegisheart or Brandobaris. She has to learn the very words we follow, as well as those of Yondalla, and the rest of Yondalla's Children. Perhaps less of the Scamp's.

I never thought I would meet someone quite like this. It worries me. We must keep a watchful eye on her. At the moment, she is a danger to others, as well as herself. As much as I loath it, we may have to resort to restraints if we aren't able to improve her frightening outlook on things.

Until next we meet, may you remain an honored shield of our people. Treli.

Treli,

I will try again, but her insistence on her fathers word being absolute was beginning to bother me.

I do agree that experience will teach her otherwise. However, my journey's take me into often dangerous territory against advisories that I feel would be much too strong for her. Likely resulting in her death.

I will speak to her and give you tasks to take her on so she may see that not all tall-folk are 'black'.

Be well.
