The Watch tried to remove the illithid implants from their leaders, so we could question them about the children's location, but unfortunately both did not survive the operation.

This is an astounding turn of events. Just four days ago, I entered that warehouse and found the Sugar Sweets beating the Dapper Derbies around... how can this be? A traitorous child?

I have fallen quite ill. In addition to some unknown threats, I've found sleeping hard as well. I'm sure you of all people understand. I hope to be better in a day or two. Unless told otherwise in the next few hours, I will redirect this letter to Paladin-Adept Asen.
